Meet our Board of Directors

Pastor Sammie Smimmo is the Founder and Executive Director of 5252 Ministries, a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the homeless and needy. Sammie’s spiritual journey serves as both an inspiration and a reminder that “with God all things are possible".

She was a self-made millionaire for many years who went from living in a $600,000 home to a $150,000 home, to an RV, and finally to a tool shed without running water or a bathroom. And then she found out she had breast cancer. Sammie’s remarkable story is what makes her such an effective minister to the homeless – she truly understands their stories of devastation and loss and is living proof of God’s love and faithfulness. Sammie serves as a full-time minister sharing the love of Christ with the homeless in cities across America.
